Who?
Ian currently spends his days in an office affectionately known as the chicken shed where he designs things and spends time on the web imagining being anyhwere else. Out of hours he can be found living in a two-bedroom semi near Coventry decorated in the 'Scandanavian Style' (i.e. mostly empty). At night, if the sky is clear he is often seen peering through a telescope a faint fuzzy things many light years away.

So the things that I hate today:-
(i) Garages - the ones that charge you an arm and a leg to do some work on your car that you never even knew needed doing.
(ii) International, California based telescope manufacturers, who have stopped making the parts that I need to make my very expensive computer controlled telescope which is only 2 years old work again.. So instead I have to wait and wait to hopefully get some second hand parts instead.
(iii) Having a cough that threatens to crack my ribs. Hopefully I can get rid of it enough to go climbing tomorrow, 'cause I missed last week aswell. Missing 2 training sessions in a row would be bad.
(iv) Daylight saving time. Now I am going to bed at 2am instead of 1am, but still gettting up at 7:45am.
Listening to: Goldfrapp

Consider the ratio of a circles' circumference to its' diameter. Simple isn't it. You can make a circle so surely it will have a finite circumference and fininte diameter [maybe you could measure it to the nearest atom] so surely there will be a finite ratio, but its always the same:
